The annual Phab get together at Wicksteed Park was a good day out, there were 12 of us from Leamingon PHAB. Booking in was easy, and once the wristbands had been bought we trundled to the PHAB area to join with the PHAB Midlands region, and chat with old and new frends.
Thank you to Heather for arranging this, and for all the other regonal PHAB groups who were represented.
first ride was the train, to get a feel of the place.
and from there everyone disappeared to sample the pleasures of Wicksteed Park – Ice Cream included….
when we all met up again at the minibus for the journey home, it was clear that it had been a good day.
A special thank you to Duncan, our driver for the day, he was excellent, a very nice drive to and from, and a nice chap as well.
So, we will get Wicksteed Park in our events calendar for next year, and see if we can get more of us there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day out at Wicksteed Park. It was really nice to all travel together on the minibus and the weather was kind to us. Already looking forward to next year!
