We had a great time at the Rowington Fete this year, the weather held off, thank you to everyone who came to visit our stand, thank you to Lucy for working with Hannah to allow us to have a stand at the Fete.
And a huge thank you to the team – Hannah, Craig and Marie, Craig and Anita – who did a brilliant job in setting the stand up and arranging the games.
We had a number of different competitions:
Guess the number of marbles in the jar, a raffle for small Phab Bears, Win A (big) Bear – this chap…. and yes he went to a good home… as well as Quoits (run by Craig and Craig)…
Thanks to the generousity of everyone who came along to our stand, donated and took part in our games, we raised £54.50 for the charity. We plan to put this towards the Turkey Tinsel trip this year for the members – so, again, thank you to everyone.
Hi all, a great day at Rowington fete. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with lots to do. It was a fun day and we raised some money for the club. Thanks to the team who were superb. Look forward to next years event. C&M.
